About Us
Aréna Mozgókép Műhely (transl.: Arena Motion Pictures) is a brand name and operation of Media Mill Ltd., a corporation based in Budapest, Hungary.
The company was founded in 1998 for the development of internet based audio-visual content aimed at the US and Canadian markets. A transition began in the early 2000's towards video- and film production for local markets, which became the primary focus of the company around 2004.
Gábor Kertai has been managing director since the incorporation of the company. A professional film editor for ten years, Gábor has worked on 4 theatrical features, and over a hundred other productions, including short features, TV miniseries, music videos and commercials. He produced many short films, and managed theatrical distribution of two 90-minute independent features (Sexplorers and Tiny but Hard... Struggles of Mine. For his valuable insight and experience in cinematic storytelling, he was hired as a creative script consultant for several of these productions.
